How to get rid of red ants on plants ?

The common problem everyone face in orchards is red ants. Most of the ant species feed on honeydew excreted by various pests. Fire ants create more loss mainly on citrus by damaging the developing fruit.

There is no effective natural enemies known for biological control of red ants.
