Jeevamritam

During the 1950's, the green revolution started in India. This led to the introduction of chemical fertilizers and pesticides into the agriculture sector and the use of these chemicals spread throughout the country. Over the years this has led to soil, water and air pollution. This has further led to the exposure of our body to chemicals.

These chemical fertilizers may be helpful for a short period of time but in the long run, it destroys the micro-organisms and organic matter present in the soil and the soil loses its natural fertility.

Jeevamritam is very useful in regenerating this lost fertility. It plays an important role in enhancing the soil fertility by helping in the growth of essential micro-organisms and earthworms.

These micro-organisms play a vital role in helping the plants to directly utilize the nutrients available in the soil.

Millions of these organisms are present in cow dung and cow urine, two of the most important ingredients in jeevamritam. When these are mixed in with ingredients like jaggery, flour, soil from the bund and water, the growth rate of these helpful microorganisms increase twofold every twenty minutes, thereby enriching the soil and ensuring the proper growth of plants.
