Heirloom Kaasi Tomato Seeds

Kaasi Tomato is sour in taste with a very thin layered skin. Seeds has been collected from the farmers who is practicing natural or organic farming methods. The seeds are heirloom open pollinated seeds.

Kaasi Tomato fruit looks ribbed outside and will grow to big sized fruits.

Kaasi Tomato plant can be grown normally in pots, grow bags on terrace garden and in balconies. Kaasi Tomato plant require 4 hours of minimum sunlight to have a healthy growth.

Seeds can be sown directly in the grow bags or on ground. Alternatively seeds can be sown in seedling trays and can be made and transplanted later once the seedlings are ready. Plant needs moderate watering. Regular application of manure like vermicompost, jeevamritam, panchagavya or home made compost gives good yield.

Word of caution: The seeds of all vegetables come with an expiry date. Usually seeds have good germination power till about 9 months from the date of packing, hence any germination not happening for seeds sown after that period is bound to be dubious. Therefore it is advised to store seeds in a cool and dry environment to maintain their true germination value.
